Reading God's Word Will Let You Know All About Pure Religion

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 NKJV

Everywhere you look people are taking sides. Everywhere you look people are claiming to know what God wants and how God does things. But they apparently have forgotten that His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. 

So, at the end of the day, all we have left is God's word as one way to find out His thoughts and His ways. What God expects of us is to help one another. And to treat others how we want to be treated. If you don't know, pray. Read His word. Everyone should back up God's word. If they don't, pray and then move on. 

If we would just spend more time in His word, a lot of things would make more sense, and we would not be sheep to the wrong shepherds. We would gain much more wisdom, and the things and/or people hurting us would be few. 

I am saddened by what is going on and will be spending much more time in His word. How about you?
